Jennifer S. Beer combines theory and methods from neuroscience and psychology to answer questions about how self, emotion and thoughts about other people influence the way in which we navigate our social worlds. Her work has followed students through four years of university, investigated the social impairments of individuals with brain trauma, and examined neural activation while individuals make decisions about social dilemmas. She has expertise in measuring personality, neuropsychological functioning, social behavior and fMRI.
