Abstract

A 48-year-old Hispanic male presents with a history of dyspnea on exertion that has been present for two months. He has been evaluated by an internist who discovered on monitoring that the patient had frequent PVCs and runs of monomorphic ventricular tachycardia. He had an echocardiogram that revealed an EF of 25% without segmental wall motion abnormality. A nuclear stress test revealed no scar or ischemia.
